Project Spotlight: Jackson Jewel

Project Spotlight: Jackson Jewel

Tucked into one of the Kingsway's quietest, most established streets, this home called for a renovation that let its architecture do the talking. Graceful new arched openings were built and finished in plaster as if they'd always been there, and wide-plank white oak was laid in a classic herringbone pattern throughout the main floor.

Natural stone runs through the whole house: in the kitchen, a dramatic book-matched marble slab backsplash runs from the counter up to an integrated stone shelf, warmed up with brass fixtures and sconces, and the same statement marble reappears as a floating vanity in the powder room.

The primary ensuite is its own retreat, with a soaker tub tucked into an arched niche beneath the window and a walk-in shower framed in a dramatic veined purple-and-white marble edge over a herringbone marble floor.

The palette stays intentionally restrained elsewhere — soft whites, natural wood, warm brass hardware — so the home's original proportions and the stonework can carry the room. Timeless finishes, executed at a very high standard. A true Kingsway jewel.
